Scottish-born and now based in Berlin, Germany, Stefan studied Classical Composition at conservatoire in Italy, graduating in the spring of 2023.

Subsequently, he’s composed extensively for theatre, film and other various forms of applied media, and now operates out of his own recording studio at the coveted Funkhaus complex in Berlin.

He is constantly working to push the boundaries of his own sonic signature further blending the worlds of electronic and acoustic and capturing the next wave of innovative aural experimentation and creation.

His first foray into music was studying musical theatre and performance as a teen. Since then, he has become an accomplished DJ and producer under the moniker "LAWRENZ" which has strongly influenced his unique sound - a blend of both the classical and electronic worlds.

This sound is varied, stimulating, and aims to challenge accepted norms in playing with established conventions, blurring both the electronic and acoustic musical worlds of which he loves.
